But this one’s only for the “serious” cyclists!
This 2-day ride starts in Nashville, Tennessee and travels 300K to Tupelo, Mississippi — and back.
And there’s a 40-hour time limit.
Riders on the course must be totally self sufficient as NO support services will be provided. Due to the limited nature of available services on the Natchez Trace Parkway, Controls (i.e. stores) will be located off of the parkway causing riders to briefly exit the course.
For more information, check out the Harpeth Bike Club‘s website. There you will find:
- a route map
- directions to the start
- camping & hotel locations
- food, water and supply locations

I like to help people find unique ways to do things in order to save time & money — so I write about “outside the box” ideas that most wouldn’t think of. As a lifelong dog owner, I often share my best tips for living with and training dogs. I worked in Higher Ed over 10 years before switching gears to pursue activities that I’m truly passionate about. I’ve worked at a vet, in a photo lab, and at a zoo — to name a few. I enjoy the outdoors via bicycle, motorcycle, Jeep, or RV.
