Shannon Bowers is biking the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi in honor of her brother, Braden Bowers who died while bicycling. She is hoping to bring greater awareness of the need for barriers in medians of four-lane and interstate highways.

The Natchez Trace Parkway has become a leading tour route for motorcyclists from all over the country. EVERYONE wants to 'ride the Trace' at some point in time! The Harpeth River Watershed Association has scheduled a 2-mile hike on the Natchez Trace Parkway near Nashville. Led by Robert Brandt, this hike is known as the Loveless To Leiper's tour. The public is welcome to attend.
