A Sight To See At Milemarker 437: A New Park!

Looks like they’ll soon be adding something new to the Natchez Trace Parkway maps.

At milemarker 437, they’ve just started construction for an access ramp that will connect a new park (in Williamson County Tennessee) that is adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway near Highway 96.

This really makes my day, because I live near the Highway 96 exit off the Trace, and this gives us yet one more way to “get outta town” while still enjoying the great outdoors that Williamson County has to offer at the same time.

Plus, those with kids (or dogs) will certainly appreciate having another place to “get away from it all”.

Yep, the new Williamson County park that’s connected to the Natchez Trace Parkway is just one more reason to eventually make your way to the Natchez Trace Parkway and enjoy all that this beautiful and historic stretch of road has to offer!

Plus, what traveler, bicyclist, Rv’er or motorcyclist wouldn’t like to have another “fun” place to take a break, stretch the legs, take pictures, or just spend some time winding down?

Overall, this will make something like the 10th official pull-off that exists on the busiest end of the Natchez Trace Parkway — the northern most tip. There’s just so much to see & do around these parts…

Here’s more about the new park (including pictures), and more about the town it’s located in: Franklin, Tennessee.
