Crayola Colored Leaves & Blue Skies Photographed On The Natchez Trace Parkway

Imagine what it would be like if God dropped a million boxes of crayons from the blue sky above, and they landed on the Natchez Trace Parkway.

That's what it was like this week, as I witnessed peak colors of red, orange and golden yellow on the northern end of the Parkway near Nashville.

The above photo was taken from behind the scenes vantage point.

The following pictures were taken in the morning hours of November 5th. So the light was hitting much softer and the colors appeared so much more vibrant than my earlier photos (taken in the afternoon) were.

I hope you enjoy seeing the minuscule, yet oh-so-colorful changes, as they take place over these last days of Autumn...

It is evident that we are nearing the end of our colorful Autumn days here in Middle Tennessee.
