Yep, on the Natchez Trace Parkway you can be one with nature, wildlife, and cows!

Tis the season... for turkeys!

For some reason, there have been quite a few people searching for the Judds' family farm here on this site.

Not sure what the correlation is... except maybe people have heard that they live near the Natchez Trace Parkway. And I have to admit, every time I'm on the Trace, I can't help but glance over at The Judd's family farm.

You can actually get a great look at both, Naomi Judd and Ashley Judd's homes from the Natchez Trace Parkway -- near Garrison Road in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee.

Who are the Slowski's? No, not those two turtles from the Comcast commercials who are constantly trying to prove that "going slow" in life is a good thing. (They spell their name S-L-O-W-S-K-Y.)

A couple of those commercials are pretty funny though. "YOU push it... push it real good!" (watch the video here)

But that is where the Slowski's of Natchez Trace Parkway fame got their nickname.

The Slowski's are the two people that I pass almost every single time I'm driving on the Natchez Trace Parkway these days.

I'm often asked questions like, "How much bike traffic is there on the Trace?"

And when it comes to motorcycles, cars, trucks & RV's... "How many people drive on the Natchez Trace Parkway anyway?"

Just as it's hard to find gasoline when driving along the Natchez Trace Parkway, it's nearly as difficult to find a restroom -- when you need one!

Here are all of the public restrooms located on the Natchez Trace Parkway -- from the Alabama state line (milemarker 340.1) through Tennessee, all the way to Nashville (milemarker 444).

It's springtime on the Natchez Trace Parkway -- as evidenced by all the colorful budding trees on either side of the roadway.
