As long as I've lived in Middle Tennessee, this is one of the first times that I've seen peak Autumn colors arrive so early: before the end of October! Here are some photos, plus info about viewing fall foliage in Tennessee.
I live near the Natchez Trace Parkway in Nashville. Aside from being there and experiencing it for yourself, the next best way to get a feel for what it's really like is to view photos of the Natchez Trace Parkway. There no truer sign of autumn than the vibrant colors witnessed along the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tennessee. Early November appears to be the best time to view the fall foliage in the Natchez Trace State Park... in the northernmost part towards Nashville at least.
